• The lip flaps and blinking animations on character portraits.
• the guide where it shows you all the characters, where they’re from, and their relation to other characters
• Have the game’s opening cut scene be backstory on the country the game is set in.
• Have the game’s continent have a name.
• Light magic. Or the magic triangle in general.
• Playable soldier units
• (more of a story gripe than anything) Have the player actually have to work for their plot-relevant legendary weapons instead of giving it to them right away
